I am thrilled to present my very first blog post, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Today has been a whirlwind of creativity, occasional frustrations, and fueled by caffeine, as I dedicated myself to crafting this personal web page. It has been a labor of love, perhaps tinged with a touch of stubbornness, but here we are, live on the internet!

This blog will serve as a platform dedicated to Irene and our travels, both international and domestic. We have had the privilege of embarking on some incredible adventures together, and I am eager to share the stories, captivating photos, and invaluable tips we have accumulated along the way. But that’s not all—this space will also encompass special events that take place here at home or in the vibrant city of Houston. Whether it’s a joyous family gathering, a quirky festival, or simply a delightful day out exploring the city, it will all find a place on this blog.

I extend a heartfelt appreciation to ChatGPT, my virtual cheerleader and assistant, for their invaluable support in keeping me on track (and reminding me that Comic Sans is not universally appreciated).

Of course, my day was not solely spent engrossed in screen time. I made sure to take numerous breaks to play with my new Insta360 Flow Pro 2—and what a game-changer it has been! I spent hours twirling and capturing mesmerizing slow-motion shots that transform my living room into a Hollywood action flick set. If this blog eventually features random 360-degree panoramas of Irene and me at the grocery store, you’ll know why.
